The taste of Galliano liqueur is set to change following a fine-tuning of the unique recipe and the launch of a new coffee-flavoured version – Galliano Ristretto.
Under the guidance of Lucas Bols BV and a host of industry figures from across the world, the recipe has undergone a transformation to give it a more refined and complex taste to trace it back to its Italian heritage.
The Ristretto combines Robusta and Arabica coffee to give it a full body coffee flavour without any cream or chocolate, making it a unique addition to the coffee liqueur world.
Galliano brand manager Kelly Viles said she was excited to introduce the new flavours to the Australian market.
“Australia has long been an industry leader in cocktail creativity and a very exciting market for Galliano. With its unique taste and flexibility, the brand lends itself to both classic and modern day cocktails,” she said.
The recipe change and new flavour are part of a broader global campaign that will see the brand repositioned within the super-premium liqueurs category.
