The totally revised and updated ‘Australian Wine Vintages, The Gold Book 2010’ by Rob Geddes MW was launched last night (Aug 27) at Sydney’s Victoria Room.

A guide to Australia’s best wineries and best wines, the book has seen its first major revision since it was initially published thirty years ago.

More than 3500 wines were tasted with the best reviewed alongside the country’s top wineries.

Still with the same characteristic gold cover, the book includes information on the best places to eat and sleep in Australia’s wine regions, the best after dinner drinks, wine style tasting notes for more than 300 wineries and 2500 wines, winery addresses and opening times.

The Gold Book will hit shelves mid-September and retails for $34.95.
