After an extensive search, Good Drinks has appointed Mick McKeown as the new Head of Sales and Marketing, with McKeown to begin the role this month.

McKeown brings 12 years of experience across sales and marketing with him. His previous roles included including Head of Sales, National General Manager of Craft Beer, General Manager/Sales Director (Queensland operations), Head of International Brands and Marketing Manager (Great Northern, Carlton Dry and Carlton Draught).

Good Drinks Managing Director John Hoedemaker said that McKeown’s skills, experience and leadership abilities will bring significant value to the Good Drinks team.

“Mick joins Good Drinks at a pivotal time in our business. His experience and expertise will be a significant driver in continuing to turbo-charge the growth of our brands across the country. To have Mick’s leadership at Good Drinks is invaluable, and his local connections across Queensland and the east coast will help steer our targeted national strategy,” Hoedemaker said.

“With Gage Roads Brew Co and Matso’s continuing to outperform the market, new venues including Matso’s Sunshine Coast about to open, partner brands such as Magners, Coors and Miller leaders in the flavoured beer and international categories, and the launch of our new brand Rider Lite, there’s a lot to be excited about across the Good Drinks portfolio,” he added.

McKeown is looking forward to the new role.
