The Gossips label has maintained its standing as Australia's fastest growing wine under $7, with owner Warburn Estate recently announcing the addition of a straight Sauvignon Blanc to the range.

Developed in 2003, Gossips' volumes are well above market growth and it continues to grow significantly in volume year-on-year, according to Francis Fusca, Warburn Estate executive director, sales and marketing.

He told TheShout there are now 14 different wines in the range, with the addition of the country's number one white varietal.

"Adding a straight Sauvignon Blanc to the range was not an option, until our own vineyard plantings for the variety came on line – this occurred in 2013," Fusca said.

"The strength and growth of Gossips comes from delivering outstanding quality for the price point. To continue this, and maintain pricing for a straight savvy meant it had to be from Warburn Estate vineyards."

Alongside the Sauvignon Blanc, the Gossips range comprises Sweet Lips Moscato, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Sweet Lips Pink Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Semillon Chardonnay, Rose, Merlot, Cabernet Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Shiraz Cabernet  and Sweet Lips Syrah Dolcetto.
