Grand Marnier is to join the Bacardi Lion portfolio, with distribution to commence March 2.

The orange-flavoured French liqueur joins the Bacardi Lion liqueur portfolio, which includes De Kuyper, Dom Benedictine and Amarula.

Currently sold in over 150 countries, Grand Marnier is ranked 55th amongst the Top 100 international spirits (RSV) and has been rated as the number one French liqueur export for over 25 years.

Bacardi Lion managing director, Colin Rochester, said he was thrilled with the premium addition to Bacardi Lion’s portfolio.
“Continuing to grow our product portfolio with complementary brands is vital in achieving our mission of becoming a leading premium Spirit and RTD business,” he said.

Grand Marnier is created by blending the distilled essence of tropical oranges and fine cognacs, and is both popular as an after dinner aperitif and as a cocktail ingredient.
