Things are shaping up over at Bacardi, with the 2009 Bacardi Express set to depart from Melbourne on Thursday week (Mar 26).

For two days, more than 200 bartenders, media and music-lovers will journey on a restored 1960s train from Melbourne to Sydney, with concert-stops in Wagga Wagga and Woolongong.

Four concerts in total will be performed, along with on-board sessions, with the final to be held at Big top in Sydney’s Luna Park on March 28.

Headlined by Groove Armada, the popular group will be joined by British India, Bluejuice, Van She and The Lost Valentinos, as well as special-guest DJs.

“DJ decks and plenty of time between stations can mean only one thing  – fun,” Grove Armada said in a statement. “It will be great meeting some of our fans and other artists on the train journey before stopping off to play in Melbourne and Sydney.”

Now in its second year, consumers still have the chance to win tickets to the concerts through either on-line promotions, on-pack or with media partners.
