G'Vine and its local distribution partner, SouthTrade International, are continuing to grow the premium gin brand's on-premise presence in Australia, off the back of impressive expansion in Europe.

G'Vine marketing and sales leader Andy Gaunt (pictured) told TheShout that the brand is now the second largest premium gin in the second largest gin drinking market globally, Spain, with good growth in other European and American markets.

"Last year, as a result, we began our steps into Australia and the Asia region, and while Australia is still an emerging market for us, we can all see the potential in the market," he said.

"This is not only thanks to the well recorded growth of gin in recent years, but also the flavour profile and style of G'Vine, which we believe is very well suited to this country."

He said the brand has taken a 'less is more' approach to building its on-premise accounts in Australia.

"Our distribution strategy is quite focused on quality rather than quantity," he said.

"As such, you will find G'Vine in some of Australia's best on-premise establishments, such as Rockpool, The Winery, Gazebo, Bistro Vue, 1806, Gin Palace, as well as a great selection of other top-end venues across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra and Brisbane."

"Building our presence in the right on-premise environments is our primary focus this year, but we are available in selected independent off-trade – actually my local Porters sells G'Vine thanks to there being fans of the brand in the area."
