Tamborine Mountain Distillery (TMD) has signed a deal with Think Spirits to nationally distribute TMD flavoured vodkas, liqueurs, schnapps and absinthe in Australia.
Located in Queensland’s Gold Coast hinterland, the family-owned business produces handcrafted spirits without artificial additives distilled from chemical-free fruit.
“We are getting a great reaction from bartenders and bar owners who are excited there is a quality Australian vodka out there. This is the first ever artesian Australian spirit company,” said Manron Media director, Manuel Terron.
“And the other thing is we are not attacking the plain vodka market but the flavoured vodka market with a range of Australian flavours that impresses people and keeps them interested,” he said.
The TMD vodka range includes forest peppermint, wild citrus, lemon myrtle and eucalyptus gum leaf. The TMD liqueur range includes choc ’n’ chilli, lavender, ginger and macadamia nut, as well as Moulin Rooz Absinthe.
