Premium US craft whisky producer, Hotaling & Co, will now have its core range of whiskies distributed across Australia by Iconic Beverages.
Old Potrero Six-Year-Old Straight Rye Whiskey, along with Hirsch Bourbon ‘The Horizon’ and ‘The Bivouac’ Whiskies, will join Iconic Beverages’ portfolio of US Whiskies, which includes WhistlePig Rye Whiskey, Balcones Distilling & Rittenhouse.

Old Potrero Six-Year-Old Straight Rye Whiskey has been distilled in San Francisco since 1993 and is made from a 100 per cent malted rye mash bill before being aged for a minimum of six years in charred American white oak barrels.
Hirsch Bourbon was first commissioned in 1974 and now The Horizon combines two straight bourbons distilled in Lawrenceberg, Indiana: 94 per cent of the blend is distilled from a traditional mash bill and aged a minimum of four years. The remaining six per cent is distilled from a high rye mash aged six years for added complexity.
The Bivouac also combines two straight bourbons although these are distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky, with 95 per cent of the blend is distilled from a mashbill of 74 per cent corn, 18 per cent rye and eight per cent malted barley, aged a minimum of three years. The remaining five per cent is distilled from a high malted barley mash 72 per cent corn, 13 per cent rye, 15 per cent malted barley, aged for a least six years.
