Iconic Kings Cross nightclub Hugos Lounge will tonight (Nov 19) celebrate turning 10 years old.
Opening in time for the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the nightclub has become one of the most well-known venues in the city, hosting hundreds of exclusive parties. It has won ‘Best Nightclub’ at the Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), for the past three years in a row.
Hugos Lounge celebrates their win for ‘Best Nightclub’ for the third year in a row at the 2010 ALIAs.
Co-owner Dave Evans, Pete Evans and Dave Corsi have all expressed their delight at reaching this milestone.
“We’re pretty proud that, despite Sydney’s reputation for the fast and the flash, we’ve maintained a venue that is still regarded by those with far more style than myself and the boys as a favoured destination,” said Dave Evans.
The Hugos Group includes Hugos Bar Pizza and Hugos Manly in Sydney, as well as Pantry in Melbourne.
