Iconic Beverages Australia has secured this country’s distribution rights for the popular US spirit, Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

The brand will be available nationwide through Iconic Beverages from 1 July 2020, with Iconic Beverages Managing Director, Dean Terranova, telling TheShout they will be working to realise the brand’s full potential in Australia.

“The biggest thing for us is that Tito’s is such a popular spirit in the US,” Terranova said.

“We will be strategically building the brand in Australia alongside the Balcones Whisky brand from Texas, so we now have a portfolio of premium Texas spirits.

“We will be working in the retail channel and the on-premise channel once it opens back up, and we will be in the position to really help Tito’s to reach its full potential in Australia.

“As a smaller company we will have a lot of focus on Tito’s, this will be our number one brand.”

The brand will move over from SouthTrade International and Terranova did work on Tito’s during his time with SouthTrade. He added: “We are very proud to announce the signing of Tito’s Handmade Vodka and would like to acknowledge the great work Southtrade has undertaken on the brand to date.

“We intend to step it up a notch and take this world-renowned brand to the next level here Australia.
