One of Sydney’s most iconic venues — The Mandarin Club — has reopened its doors this week at a new Dixon Street location.

The $40-million development has moved from its original Pitt Street location and will feature two bars, a gaming room and a Japanese Restaurant.

Bar One and the Mandarin Club are currently open, with the Japanese restaurant Satsuma and the exclusive M Bar due to open in November and February 2009.

Manager Chris Hoy, who has over 14 years experience in the industry, said that it was a very exciting time for the new venue.

“It’s a great time for us over here, we’ve got great staff and I’m really looking forward to getting everything ready for the hard opening on 7 November,” he said.

Bar One offers alfresco Italian dining and a mobile cocktail bar station outside, while the M Bar will offer a full bottle service for VIP customers.
