International Game Technology (IGT) has taken out the top gong at this year’s International Gaming Awards held in London on Australia Day.
A panel of 23 international judges made up of top international gaming industry professionals selected IGT as ‘Slot Manufacturer of the Year’.
The judges included casino operators, journalists, manufacturers and analysts and the awards coincided with the annual International Gaming Expo (IGE).
Criteria for the top award meant judges were looking for the operator that has consistently and decisively dominated the slot sector during the past 12 months, while enjoying the reach and scale to set them apart in the competitive market.
It also took into account other factors including originality, brand identity, marketing, usability and scale.
IGT Europe MD James Boje said they were delighted to be recognised by such an esteemed group of gaming professionals.
“It is an honour to be acknowledged for the hard work and dedication that our team has put forward,” he said.
