A joint initiative by IGT and The Drop, the IGT Gaming Academy is a new educational resource for anyone in gaming and is now live at thedrop.com.au.
With regular video webcasts, training and quick-learn papers on a range of practical subjects, the Academy will become a complete reference library that can be accessed anytime it’s needed by The Drop members.
Subjects will include: understanding reports and different game types, how games are designed for different player styles, gaming floor design and layouts, organising installs, managing minor fixes, and a whole lot more. There is even an online forum for Q&As with industry experts.
“The Drop has become a strong resource for our customers whether they are a duty manager or a CEO,” said Nigel Turner at IGT. “Our industry needs great training for people so that they can make more informed decisions, particularly when it comes to the complex area of gaming.
