The Independent Liquor Group (ILG) is growing rapidly and targeting 450 outlets bannered with ILG in NSW, according to CEO Doug Evans.

Evans told TheShout that ILG NSW banner groups were continuing to grow with strong outlet support of the new branding strategies.

“Currently there are 300 outlets bannered with ILG,” he said. “This is the most that ILG has ever had and we are fast tracking to a target of 450 which will see growth of nearly 100 percent.”

Evans said the Little Bottler brand is currently the strongest in the Sydney metropolitan area by outlet number and has a very high consumer awareness level.

“CLUBmart was launched a month ago to cater for the specialised needs of clubs,” he said.

“The acceptance and growth of this banner group has been fantastic with over seventy members and growing considerably each week. Competitor clubs are very receptive to this offer as we gain many new clubs to our stable.”

Nationwide, ILG boasts a total of over 1,500 members – the highest number of members it has ever had.

“Queensland sales are accelerating fast and they are already ahead of a very aggressive growth target which was set at 180 percent of last year,” said Evans.

“The interest from new members is high as the ILG presence across southern Queensland becomes more prominent.”
