The Independent Liquor Group (ILG) has announced the names of the new members of its trading team.

Allen De Costa has been appointed to the role of General Manager – Trading for ILG.

Allen comes to ILG after 10 years at Local Liquor where he built the brand from its beginning to around 500 outlets today and has also previously held senior trading roles at ALM.

Joining Allen is Peter Hampson, who has been appointed to the role of Retail Marketing Manager.

Peter brings with him an extensive background with Coles, having held national and state operational and trading roles running Liquorland, Theo’s and Vintage Cellars, along with being involved in the strategic planning behind First Choice.

Allen and Peter will be supported by Sarah Joy in the role of trading support who comes to ILG from Poole’s Rock Wines.

“I am extremely pleased to announce the following appointments to our trading department as part of the continual reinvigoration and improvement of the co-operative,” said ILG CEO Doug Evans.

“The quality and experience these individuals bring to ILG are exceptional.”
