Paramount Liquor successfully launched its Re:Tail series of events in Melbourne this week, with over 150 people from the city’s off-premise in attendance at The Wool Mill in Brunswick East.

The event saw a trade show featuring Archie Rose Distilling, Bacardi-Martini Australia, Brown-Forman, Carlton & United Breweries and CUB Premium Beverages, Coca-Cola, Craft Revolution, Diageo, Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, Proof and Company and William Grants & Sons. In addition, Nathan Rowe, Paramount Liquor CEO, was joined by Anastasia Lloyd-Wallis, Head of Insights from the leading retail consultancy and advisory, Retail Doctor Group.

The pair discussed the opportunities open to the off-premise for best practice in the years ahead. Topics of discussion included consumer behaviour trends, what these mean for the in-store experience and importantly how retailers can tweak their offering and service to maximise sales.

Rowe said: “It was an event for new experiences and meaningful discussions. Off-premise guests departed Re:Tail with a Re:Freshed toolkit and a new perspective on how to Re:Think operations for a Re:Defined retail environment. Paramount is proud of its ongoing commitment to facilitate connections and educate the industry.”

The event also saw Paramount launch its new banner group, BottleStop, which Paramount describes as a next-generation banner group that puts retailers in control.

Rowe added: “We are anticipating a strong year in the retail sector and excited to be bolstering Sessions by adding more stores across all states, and the addition of our new banner group, BottleStop.”

There will be more about BottleStop coming on The Shout.
