J&J O’Brien Hoteliers Group (JJO) which owns iconic Sydney venues Jacksons on George and The Marlborough Hotel, celebrated Christmas 'Tiki style' on Tuesday 6 December with its 21st annual Christmas Breakfast at The Watershed Hotel, Darling Harbour.

Director Judith Crawley began hosting a Christmas breakfast each year to thank the suppliers of the company. Now 21 years later, the breakfast, which is held on the first Tuesday in December every year, has become an institution amongst suppliers in the industry.

As is tradition, JJO put on a raffle and match dollar-for-dollar with all proceeds donated to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation in Randwick. Prizes consisted of experiences available at each of the JJO venues including a Cocktail Master Class hosted at Cohibar.

This year, $1796 will be donated to the charity.

The breakfast has gone from a formal sit down event to a more relaxed cocktail style breakfast and this year was held for the first time at The Watershed Hotel.

In attendance were industry icons including Chuck Hahn and Doug May of Lion (pictured) who have been working with JJO for the past 20 years.
