The wine brand aims to achieve global reach with the film’s international release across participating markets including Australia, North America, Europe and Asia.
The partnership will see a full complement of promotional activities, including a Jacob’s Creek cinema, print and outdoor advertising campaign, a competition to ‘Win the Ultimate Australian Experience’, and event marketing initiatives that build on excitement surrounding the film’s release.
“With the key attributes of being iconic, authentically Australian and premium, there is no doubt that Jacob’s Creek and Australia create the ideal partnership,” said Jacob’s Creek managing director, Stephen Couche.
Set against the vast landscape of Northern Australia and starring Nicole Kidman and High Jackman, Australia has been described as a mix of romantic comedy, high tragedy and action.
Australia opens in theatres across Australia on November 26.
