Jacob’s Creek will launch Pip & Seed, a union of cider and wine made from Australian apples and grapes, on July 1.
Three 500ml varieties of Pip & Seed, including crisp, sweet and fruity, will be available at First Choice, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars for RRP $8.99 per bottle or three bottles for $20.
The range was developed to suit the palate of cider drinkers looking for more from cider than apples.
Rebekah Richardson, winemaker at Jacob’s Creek, said Pip & Seed is a uniquely refreshing cider and wine fusion.
“We crafted our own unique cider by applying our extensive knowledge of winemaking to fresh locally sourced Australian apple juice, and then blended this with our iconic wine.”
