J&J O’Brien Hoteliers Group (JJO) is set to open a new three-level boutique hotel in Sydney’s CBD with an exclusive launch party next Wednesday (Sep 30).

JJO purchased The Belvedere in 2007 and the hotel has been restored to include its original federation surrounds and façade and includes a restaurant on the first level.

The ground level bar boasts huge glass bi-fold windows throughout and a traditional wooden bar with a contemporary twist.

At the burlesque-themed launch party, guests will be served Belvedere vodka cocktails, Hennessy VSOP Cognac, Glenmorangie whiskey, Chandon, cigars and canapés by 2009 AHA National Chef of the Year, Daniel Fountain.

Entertainment will include a range of burlesque performers, with a special performance by  jazz, blues and soul singer, Carrie Lakin.

The Belvedere will join JJO’s other Sydney venues, which include The Marlborough Hotel, The Watershed Hotel and Jacksons on George.
