The annual Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards has acknowledged Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels (JLL) as the top hotel sales agency in Australia for last year (2010).

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels national director – pub investment sales, John Musca, said the award was based on the fact that during the year the company had exchanged and settled 48 accommodation hotels and pubs with a combined value of over $793 million.

“Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is committed to delivering outstanding results for our clients and this is the second consecutive year that we have been awarded this prestigious accolade,” he said.

“2011 is already proving to be another positive year for accommodation hotel and pub investment with a number of properties having already come to the market and sold.

“We are witnessing a heightened level of investment activity across both asset classes having already transacted circa $200 million in the first four months of this year.”
