The Ketel One global brand ambassador, Jason Bowden, is in Australia this week to host a series of master class sessions across major Australian cities.

The first session on Monday (Feb 23) saw more than 20 bartenders, including Luke Redington from Hugos Bar Pizza and David Beatty and Blake Head from The Beresford, gather at The Brett Whiteley Studio in Sydney to learn more about the Dutch vodka.

Attendees were treated to a formal presentation about the spirit’s 300-year history followed by a comparative tasting of a range of vodkas, including Ketel One and Ketel One Citroen.

Bowden said that part of what makes Ketel One such a great vodka is the history attached to it.

“Distilled by the Nolet family in Schiedam (The Netherlands) Ketel One is still produced using the same distillation method dating back 300 years and 14 generations,” he said. ”That’s unlike any other vodka out there.”

Today’s (Feb 25) session will be held at the Guilford Lane Gallery in Melbourne, while Friday’s session is at the Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm.
