The taste of Victoria’s King Valley arrived in Sydney with the launch of King’s Vault, an innovative pop-up wine bar that will tempt the tastebuds of Sydney’s wine lovers over the next ten days.

The opening was marked last night (Nov 17) with an exclusive Prosecco party hosted by Jill Dupleix that saw guests sipping some of the King Valley’s best locally produced Prosecco, matched to canapés featuring gourmet King Valley ingredients.

The secret location of King’s Vault was revealed as 20 McLachlan Avenue, Darlinghurst, a former gallery space that has been transformed into an Italian-inspired wine bar, decked out in recycled and reclaimed materials.

Over the coming week, guests will be able to experience a remarkable selection of wines and produce from the King Valley, along with the chance to chat to the winemakers, including Fred and Joel Pizzini (Pizzini Wines), Arnie Pizzini (Chrismont), Sam Miranda (Sam Miranda King Valley) and Otto and Michael Dal Zotto (Dal Zotto Estate).

King’s Vault will host several trade evenings with a variety specific focus, along with Open Vault nights that are open to the public.
