Following on from the successful launch of Kirin Hyoketsu Lemon last year, the RTD brand is launching two new flavours, Peach and Pineapple, into Australia in the coming months.

The new flavours have been created using proprietary Hyoten Toketsu technology, which sees freshly squeezed peach and pineapple juice frozen at below 18 degrees before being mixed with vodka and soda. The end product is a six per cent ABV RTD with 0.7g of sugar and just 116 calories.

Australia is the first country outside of Japan to experience the highly popular Japanese premix drink, which the brand says showcases its commitment to bringing innovative and delicious beverages to consumers worldwide.

Penni Terrey, Brand Director RTD at Lion said “We are thrilled to introduce the Peach and Pineapple flavours to our Australian audience, bringing a taste of Japan’s finest to their gatherings and celebrations.

“The success of our Lemon flavour in Australia has motivated us to continue delivering innovative and refreshing ready-to-drink beverages. We believe these new additions will further enhance the Kirin Hyoketsu experience in Australia, building on our promise of an intense natural fruit flavour without any lingering aftertaste.”

Kirin Hyoketsu Peach will be available from mid-March, followed by Kirin Hyoketsu Pineapple from late-April with both flavours coming in a four-ack at $25 RRP.
