The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation and Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions are running two information sessions to help venue operators in the state understand their obligations under the current Chief Health Officer Directions.

The Directions are to ensure everyone who visits or works in a venue is safe, and while lockdowns have lifted a number of COVIDSafe rules are still in place.

The sessions take place on 11 November and 16 November and present an opportunity to have any questions about keeping your venue COVIDSafe answered.

The free sessions will take place over Microsoft Teams, but you must register beforehand.

Topics to be discussed include:

  1. Covid-19 vaccine compliance
  2. COVIDSafe planning
  3. Process to follow if someone with coronavirus enters your venue
  4. Compliance checks.
Sessions will run for an hour but may extend if there are lots of questions.

If you are unable to attend and would like to be notified about future events, please email your interest to contact@vcglr.vic.gov.au. More sessions will be held if there is a demand.
