The Watermark Hotel in Adelaide's beachside suburb of Glenelg is being offered for sale, for the first time in 20 years.

The family-owned and operated hotel caters for tourists and locals alike and was completely renovated and refurbished in 2001.

The leasehold and business are for sale by expressions of interest through McGees Property, with the process closing on Thursday, 11 August.

As well as having 40 gaming machines in operation, the venue also offers a sports bar, cocktail bar, outdoor alfresco areas together with a modern 14-room motel section. There is also a large two-lane drive thru and bottle shop together with 137 car parks on site.

There is over 3600sqm of building on offer and the owners have said they will discuss the freehold component to qualified buyers only.
