The sale of another of New South Wales' top gaming pubs further illustrates the recovery of state's pub market, agents say.

Redcape Hotel Group on Friday announced its acquisition of The Landmark Hotel in Eastwood in a deal brokered by Ray White Hotels.

Ray White Hotels Asia Pacific director Andrew Jolliffe told TheShout the off-market deal "firmly extinguishes any doubts that the market has made a full recovery from the shallows of the post-GFC malaise".

"With several high profile assets now sold in the past three months, we are confident of the continued hotel market health and see strong market levers for at least the next 18 to 24 months," he said.

Ray White's Joel Fisher agreed that the recent spate of sale activity will likely continue in the coming months.

"The market has an appetite for high quality assets and we anticipate The Landmark Hotel being one of a number of similarly unique hotels we sell between now and the end of the financial year," he said.
