The Langham Melbourne has appointed Monique Gibson to the position of catering and conventions manager.
Gibson has worked as the catering and events manager for Sky City Group in Auckland for the past seven years, where she was responsible for delivering departmental budget and leading the team. Gibson has also worked at The Hyatt Regency in Auckland.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Monique on board,” said The Langham Melbourne executive assistant manager – sales and marketing, Amanda Thompson.
“With recent refurbishments to the hotel’s elegant Clarendon Ballroom and our rooftop venue, Alto, Monique’s proven skills will enhance our catering and function capabilities,” she said.
Gibson will supervise the hotel’s conference and banqueting department, catering for up to 400 guests.
