Melbourne’s Starward Whisky is celebrating its tenth birthday this year and the Starward Constellations Cocktail Competition are part of those celebrations.
The competition is giving Australia’s best bartenders the chance to think like Master Distillers, blend their own whisky and ultimately battle it out over highly creative cocktails.
And while the competition will be held at the Starward Distillery in Port Melbourne in July, entries are closing tomorrow, Saturday 17 June.
The competition sees Starward looking for a cocktail that truly encapsulates Modern Australia. Winning bartenders from every region of the country will be flown to STARWARD’s inner-Melbourne distillery, create their own single malt blend and craft signature cocktails alongside the copper stills that make the drink’s base spirit.
The National Winner will receive:
- The 2017 Cocktail Constellations Trophy.
- Flights to STARWARD Distillery.
- A weekend of accommodation in Melbourne.
- A bottle of your own, handmade STARWARD whisky.
- Exclusive use of a 20L STARWARD barrel for your bar, with the first fill provided by STARWARD (worth $2,500).
