The last chance to decide who will be crowned Australia’s Hottest Bartender has arrived, with voting for the 2009 Cosmopolitan and Galliano Hottest Bartender Competition closing tomorrow (Jan 31).

After a nationwide search, ten finalists were selected after they submitted a unique recipe for a Galliano cocktail. They then got the chance to present their cocktails at an exclusive judging day in October last year.

The final part of the judging involves the public voting online and in Cosmopolitan magazine for their favourite bartender.

The finalists for 2009 are:
Nick Edwards – The Lark, Brisbane
Pierre Fajloun – ivy Lounge and The Den at ivy, Sydney
David Fisher – The Beresford Hotel, Darlinghurst, Sydney
Adrian Folkers – Phoenix Bar, Melbourne
Evan Hayes – La Boheme, Adelaide
Brett Lubicz – Universal Bar, Perth
Ryan Noreiks – The Lark, Brisbane
Lee Potter Cavanagh – Hemmesphere and The Rum Diaries, Sydney
Scott Strater – Hemmesphere, Sydney

After voting closes, reader and judging panel votes will then be combined and the winner will be announced on Mar 4 at a glamorous reveal party. The prize includes $2000 in cash and the title of 2009 Cosmopolitan and Galliano Hottest Bartender.
