Fine Wine Partners has taken over the Australian distribution of New Zealand-based Lindauer sparkling wine, after Lion Nathan National Foods (LNNF)acquired the brand from Pernod Ricard in late October last year.

A total of 12 brands were sold to a consortium of buyers including Lion Nathan New Zealand for what analysts believe was a bargain price of NZ$88 million (about A$67 million).

The Lindauer portfolio includes four products in its range – Lindauer Brut, Lindauer Sauvignon, Lindauer Friase and Lindauer Special Reserve.

Each product has an RRP of $14.99, with the exception of Lindauer Sepcial Reserve, which carries an RRP of $22.99.

Fine Wine Partners assumed responsibility for the distribution on January 1.
