Lion Beer, Spirits & Wine has announced the appointment of Damien Mori to the position of regional director for Queensland, with field sales manager Matt Windsor set to fill Mori’s previous role as regional director for Victoria and Tasmania.
Mori has worked at Lion for more than ten years, including a stint in Queensland as field sales manager from 2006 to 2008. This was followed by time in South Australia as regional director, and most recently he held the position of regional director for Victoria and Tasmania.
“During his time in Victoria and Tasmania, he led the business to achieve record share growth for the region, while improving engagement and sales capability levels across the organisation,” Lion said in a statement.
“He brings more than 17 years’ experience to the position, garnered in a range of roles across sales, brand marketing, channel planning and activation, and account management within the FMCG and liquor industries.”
Windsor started with Lion in 1997 at The West End Brewery, where he worked in a number of different positions before moving to Victoria in 2008 to take up the role of field sales manager.
He has been based in Queensland at the XXXX Brewery in the role of field sales manager since 2012.
