The Wild Turkey Joe Hachem Poker Challenge kicks off this Saturday (Feb 7) at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
The Wild Turkey Joe Hachem Poker Challenge will see 80 liquor trade winners and 20 consumer winners travel to Melbourne to play poker with Joe Hachem, with prizes including limited-edition poker sets.
The inaugural Wild Turkey Poker Classic will follow the next weekend (Feb 14 and 15) with 500 Australian poker players taking part in the event, powered by the Australian Poker League.
With an estimated $500,000 prize pool up for grabs, the event is sure to showcase the best Australia has to offer.
Wild Turkey will also host a charity poker challenge on Saturday featuring celebrities Gyton Grantley (Underbelly), Damian Walshe-Howling (Underbelly), Jeff Fenech and Krystal Forscutt.
Wild Turkey marketing manager, Mike Lloyd, said the brand had helped bring to life poker on and off-premise for the past three years.
“Wild Turkey will own the Vegas Room at Crown for the whole month of February and would like to invite all those who are interested to come join the fun at the Poker Classic and check out all the action from the Wild Turkey Lounge,” he said.
