LMG General Manager of Merchandise and Marketing, Damien Page, has unveiled a number of new initiatives for LMG members.
Speaking at the LMG Conference in Sydney, Page said that one of the initiatives was a small format spirits opportunity. Working in conjunction with Bacardi, LMG will be rolling out a 200ml spirits cabinet that will take small format spirits from behind the counter to a more accessible in-store location.
“The display units will be highly visible, have built in security measures to combat theft and will broaden the ‘occasion’ in which spirits can be purchased” said Page.
The 200ml spirit cabinets will focus on premium products and will include mixer options and convenient packaging for take away.
The cabinets follow on from the 10-pack display units that LMG introduced at last year’s conference in Vancouver, which have proved both popular and successful for members.
