Magners Irish Cider is set to extend its Australian portfolio with three new variants ahead of summer following the success of similar flavoured ciders in the UK.
The Magners Selections is a premium range of craft ciders specially blended with natural ingredients to offer a unique flavour profile in addition to the already successful Apple and Pear ciders.
Fully imported by Suntory Australia from Tipperary in Ireland, the range includes Magners Premium Irish Apple Cider with Orange and Honey, Magners Premium Irish Pear Cider with Natural Ginger, and Magners Premium Irish Apple Cider with Berries and Peach.
The Magners Selection range will hit shelves in mid-October and be available to both on and off-premise outlets in 500ml bottles.
The roll-out follows similar innovation in the UK market where Magners launched Pear and Ginger, Spiced Apple and Honey and Spiced Apple and Rhubarb flavours in August this year.
The new variations were first launched through the Tesco supermarket chain ahead of wider distribution in Sainsbury's, Waitrose and the on-trade.
The flavoured ciders market has enjoyed rapid growth in the UK and Suntory Australia sees similar opportunity in the local market.
