Marker’s Mark hosted an extravagant luncheon for industry guests at The Steel Bar & Grill in Sydney yesterday to welcome its vice president of operations, Victoria MacRae-Samuels.

During the lunch, Maker’s Mark Australian Brand Ambassador Jared Plummer served four specially cocktails featuring Marker’s Mark to showcase its versatility, while the Steel & Bar Grill’s kitchen prepared special dishes for guest made using the bourbon.

Guests (like Gwen O'Toole, editor of TheShout's sister publication Spice) were also invited to dip their own bottle of Marker’s Mark into the brands iconic red wax, mimicking the hand crafted process that is used at the Maker’s Mark Distillery, where dippers seal up to 23 bottles a minute.

As part of her trip to Australia, MacRae-Samuels will be attending a number of tastings, training sessions while also taking the time to meet with bartenders, trade representatives and key clients.

“Australia is a very important market for us. I’m excited to be here, and looking forward to discovering more about the country which has strongly embraced the story, heritage and quality of Maker’s Mark,” she said.
