Global spirits and wine distribution company, Maxxium Worldwide, has announced CEO Ben van Doesburgh will be leaving the company on 31 July.

To ensure a smooth transition, a temporary Maxxium Management Transition Group has been set up, consisting of the existing Maxxium Executive Board, who will report to the Maxxium Supervisory Board members Bill Farrar from the Edrington Group and Donard Gaynor from Beam Global Spirits & Wine, who, along with Remy-Cointreau and V&S, jointly own Maxxium Worldwide.

“The Maxxium Supervisory Board would like to express its appreciation and thanks to Ben van Doesburgh for his contributions to Maxxium over the past four years,” the company said in a statement. “During this time, Maxxium has delivered good results; this was achieved by the focused and committed people of Maxxium and delivered under Ben’s leadership.”
