Poole’s Rock Wines have announced that Lisa McGuigan is leaving the company after 18 months as general manager, sales and marketing.

A prominent wine industry figure, McGuigan has been an integral part of the Poole’s Rock senior management team since joining the business in March 2010.

“I have the utmost respect for the Poole’s Rock business and I am thrilled to have put my stamp on it over the past 18 months,” she said.

”I wish Angus (Clarke) and the team nothing but enormous success in the next phase.”

Poole’s Rock CEO, Angus Clarke acknowledges McGuigan’s contribution to the business, particularly over the challenging last three months.

”Since her arrival, Lisa has brought a new and vibrant energy to Poole’s Rock Wines,” he said.

”She has reinvigorated the sales team which will position the company well for future success.

”Lisa has been a pleasure to work with and I wish her every success in the future. She will be missed by all at Poole’s Rock Wines.”

Poole’s Rock Wines was founded in 1988 by businessman and vigneron, the late David Clarke.
