McWilliam’s Wines is asking the trade to report any offers to purchase either 750ml bottles of Mateus Rose or 1 litre bottles of Drambuie liqueur, following a theft at a Sydney site last month.

A total of 720 cases of Mateus Rose and 1250 half-dozen boxes of Drambuie were reported stolen from a Homebush Bay premise on or around March 21.

The 1 litre bottles of Drambuie are only distributed through Duty Free outlets in regular Australian trade.

Any members of the licensed trade who receive offers to buy quantities of the two products from outside their normal supply routes should contact Suzy Harle at McWilliam’s Wines on 02 9722 1214, or Flemington Police on 02 9646 8708.
