March Into Merivale, the annual restaurant and food festival that the group hospitality company runs across its numerous venues, will be running from February 16 till April 5.

The culinary celebration, now in its fourth year, will kick off with a gourmet extravaganza costing $20 and spanning the length of Ash Street (pictured), which will include tastings from Merivale restaurant and pub stalls, and allow guests to chat with their favourite chefs.

This year’s theme is ‘Eat My Words’, centred around the food philosophies of 14 of Merivale's top chefs such as Dan Hong, Peter Doyle and Jowett Yu, with more than 60 events across 21 venues including Uccello, Felix, Bistrode CBD, est., Ms. G’s, El Loco and The Beresford Hotel.

Festival favourites will be returning like the Henschke and Blackmores Dinner at Mad Cow, the Italian Family Sunday Lunches at The Beresford Hotel and the Foodie Film Nights at Ash St Cellar, along with sushi and cocktail classes.

There will also be a range of new events introduced this year, including The Sopranos dinner at Uccello, Epic Meal Time at The Beresford Hotel, The Morning After The Night Before brunch at Ms.G’s and The A Team dinner presented by Citibank, which will feature a five-course dinner at Sailor’s Thai ivy prepared by five of Merivale’s Asian chefs.

“March Into Merivale is a celebration of food and wine and of course, our talented chefs and sommeliers. And Sydneysiders have plenty of opportunity to ‘eat their words’ with the packed calendar of fun events and the $33 lunch and dinner deals at all restaurants and pubs,” said Merivale CEO Justin Hemmes.
