Hospitality technology organisation me&u has furthered its focus on global expansion with three new key hires who will use their financial, business and channel experience to plan and implement global growth.

Following on from the recent appointment of Katrina Barry as CEO, me&u has added Natalie Housson, Brian Duncan and Eric Seymour who will join as Global Chief Financial Officer, VP of Sales in the US and Head of Business Development in the US respectively.

Barry said: “They all bring a depth of experience and knowledge in the key areas needed to continue me&u’s expansion around the world. We’ve expanded over 200 per cent since the start of 2021 and bolstering out the team with their leadership abilities will help us take me&u global.

“With Natalie, Brian, and Eric onboard, me&u will be able to continue creating better experiences for customers and venues across the global hospitality sector.”

Housson joins me&u, with a deep knowledge of Fintech and eCommerce, holding previous roles as Group CFO at Moneytech and CFO at Plenti, whilst also spending almost 10 years in leadership roles at PayPal and eBay in Europe, the US and Australia.

She said: “It’s an exciting time for me&u who have achieved rapid growth and are now serving 70 per cent of Australia’s top pub groups, while launching in new overseas markets. I am excited about the opportunity we have to plan and execute our expansion into the US and UK.”

Duncan, who is a strong commercial leader with experience in SaaS, start-ups, and fortune 1000 companies, said: “The US Hospitality landscape is really different to Australia’s, and order and pay technology is an incredibly new category here. It’s an exciting challenge and I’m excited to bring my knowledge of the local landscape to both revolutionise venue operations and enhance customer experiences in America.”

Rounding out the new appointments, Seymour mostly recently served as Director of Channel Programs with HungerRush, and he said: “To strengthen and build the hospitality industry, me&u is disrupting the way the venues are working, and this style of disruption will be a very good thing. I’m committed to leveraging my business development expertise and contacts to bring me&u to venues everywhere.”
