Gruppo Campari, the world’s sixth-largest liquor company, has announced that it will be setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia, creating over 60 new jobs in the process.

The decision to set up operations in Australia follows Campari’s recent acquisition of Wild Turkey, which will join other premium brands such as Skyy Vodka, Riccadonna, Campari, Aperol and Cinzano Vermouth in the Campari portfolio.

Campari Australia managing director, Enzo Casati, has relocated from the publicly-listed company’s head office in Milano to oversee the establishment of the new operation.

Casati and Campari’s business development director, Russell Hole, have appointed specialist recruitment firm, Mondo Search, to assist with the search for the new Campari Australia team.

“We are looking to recruit, develop and reward individuals that work with utmost passion and integrity. Performance orientation and pragmatism are the hallmarks of our business model and are the guiding light for all of our people”, said Casati.

Mondo Search director, Simone Allan, said that the recruitment process has already begun.

“We are looking for senior directors across sales, marketing, finance, logistics and HR right now, and have also commenced our search for more than 60 talented professionals in these disciplines nationally.” Allen advised interested applicants to visit the Mondo Search website from Monday.
