Monteith’s Summer Ale has returned to celebrate daylight savings.

First released to the New Zealand market in 1998, Monteith’s Summer Ale has steadily increased in popularity each summer in bars, restaurants, liquor stores and supermarkets nationwide.

Summer Ale is cold filtered – not pasteurised – ensuring the freshest tasting beer.

A successful limited release brewed by the Monteith’s Brewing Company, Monteith’s Summer Ale has averaged double digit growth each season to be the top selling Monteith’s style each summer.

“It encapsulates all the enjoyable aspects of summer”, said for Monteith’s brand manager, Romy Lee Wolman.

“Monteith’s summer ale is a refreshing full strength 5 percent ale, brewed with 4 premium malts and a touch of rata honey from the West Coast to give it a spicy, sweet edge that is refreshing, easy drinking and full of flavour."

Monteith’s Summer Ale will be made available to Dan Murphy’s, Vintage Cellars, 1st Choice and select independent liquor stores.
