Gold Coast radio radio presenters will launch the recently renovated TC’s Bar and Gaming Lounge at the Sofitel in Broadbeach on April 24.

The $500,000 refurbishment of the gaming lounge formerly known as Treasure Cove features 35 poker machines, full bar service, dining and sporting action.

Sofitel’s general manager, Goran Aleksandrovski, said the venue had a relaxed atmosphere with a casino feel achieved through décor and lighting.

“TC’s offers members and guests a brand new, premium entertainment destination within the Broadbeach precinct, and is an impressive addition to the Sofitel Gold Coast,” Aleksandrovski said.

Gold Coast’s 102.9 Hot Tomato radio personalities, Paul Holmes and Shaun Flannigan, are hosting the ticketed event, which will see over $2000 cash and prizes given away.

TC’s bar and gaming manager, Gavin Smith, said there had been an increase in membership enquiries. “TC’s members’ feedback has been phenomenal. Local residents and our existing members have welcomed the new bar and gaming lounge,” he said.
