The Adelaide Institute of Hospitality (AIOH), a leading commercial cookery and hospitality training provider in South Australia, has appointed Elizabeth Bell, an experienced hospitality leader, as its new General Manager.

Bell, who has more than 20 years’ experience in hospitality, operations and training, moves into the GM role have previously been the AIOH Operations Manager.

Career Employment Group (CEG) CEO Andrew Anninos said that Bell was the outstanding candidate for the role given her vast experience and impressive journey with AIOH.

“Elizabeth is one of the most experienced hospitality leaders in South Australia, and her knowledge, demonstrated experience and passion for the industry will continue to lead AIOH into an exciting new era,” said Anninos.

“Elizabeth has already been integral to the growth of the organisation supporting in providing outstanding training to schools, job seekers and trainees across Australia. She understands the opportunities and challenges for our industry implicitly.”

Bell described her new role is a career highlight and said it was an opportunity to continue to build the AIOH team. 

“A major factor that attracted me to the General Manager role is the amazing AIOH team which has been a significant factor to the current success of the organisation,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue to grow AIOH to make a positive impact on the industry and community.” 

Bell replaces former General Manager Ben Sharp, who stepped down after 10 years.
