Half Day Hazy Pale Ale will be hitting pubs, bars, restaurants and bottle shops in December.

The Heaps Normal release is a full-flavoured 0.5 per cent ABV which has a tropical ‘sunshine-in-a-can’ profile, according to the independent brewer.

Heaps Normal’s co-founder and Head of Product, Ben Holdstock, said it is a juicy beer, jam-packed with hop flavour.

“It’s like an instant holiday in a can and the most big-flavoured non-alc beer we’ve ever brewed,” he said.

“We’re so excited to put our feet up and pull a few of these from the esky this summer.”

The brew adds to Heaps Normal’s existing stable of non-alc beers, which includes Quiet XPA and Another Lager.

Holdstock said by keeping the new release hoppy, it has retained a full-bodied mouth feel of a full-strength hazy style.

“This is one you can share with your oldies at Christmas and watch their mouths drop when you tell them it’s non-alc,” he added.

As part of the launch, Heaps Normal is giving away more than 5000 tins of the Half Day Hazy Pale Ale at more than 60 participating venues around Australia on December 9.
