A new craft beer bar opened in Melbourne this week with five rotating taps that will exclusively serve limited release and rare imported brews.

Located on Smith Street, Fitzroy, Two Row Bar is the initiative of Tiffany Waldron, better known as Beer Girl Bites, Chris Menichelli of craft beer bottleshop Slowbeer and Stewart Went of boutique wine retailer Cloud Wine.

"We purposely only put five taps in so that we will constantly be rotating beers that will all be interesting," Waldron told TheShout.

"It'll cover all genres, but there's never going to be a standard beer on tap."

Waldron said that with many craft beer friendly venues nearby including Rockwell & Sons, Brother Burger and Gertrude Hotel, Fitzroy is "sort of like the new craft beer centre of Melbourne".

Two Row also has an extensive bottled beer selection including a cellar for aging ultra-rare and ultra-limited brews, off-centre wines by the glass (hand-picked by Went) and a range of independently produced, small-batch spirits.
