Foster’s Group has appointed Stephen Brauer to the role of Foster’s Americas managing director, effective April 13.
Brauer will bring to the role more than 20 years’ experience with global wine and spirits companies, including Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Peak Wines, Seagram and most recently as general manager of Pernod Ricard USA.
He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Fosters CEO, Ian Johnston, said he was delighted to welcome Brauer, whose 20 years’ experience in the industry also includes 14 years in the Napa Valley wine region.
“He has led the recent turnaround of the Pernod Ricard USA wine and Champagne business,” he said. “I look forward to Stephen making a significant contribution as part of the Foster’s leadership team.”
