The 2020 Wine Producers Guide to Safety, which is produced by Pro-Visual Publishing in conjunction with Australian Grape & Wine and the Winery Engineering Association is now available.

The wall-mountable Guide can be displayed in a place where it will be visible to wine producers on a daily basis. Using the Guide as a work place health and safety reference helps wine producers ensure they are aware  of certain risks at work and the precautions to take to ensure they arrive home the same way the left, unharmed.

The Guide addresses pertinent to the industry in regards to health and safety, which include:

  • Manual Handling – Barrel Safety
  • Mechanical Pruners
  • Using Powered Snips
  • Forklift Safety in the Winery
  • GHS
  • Heat Stress.

The Guide features an augmented reality feature, aimed at enhancing engagement and offering an aspect of interactivity. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content, workers can access further safety information straight to their smart device, for example, videos and PDF files.

John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing, said: “I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Wine Producers Guide to Safety 2019/20. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
